I thought it would be fun to collect and store the photos we each have which show how the O'Toole and McCowen family blossomed with us all. Please send me any photos you would like included on this website. I have used software that sharpens them up and if wanted will add colour. If you would like them in their original form let me know. If you have any information about who is who in the pictures please, let me know and I will include it. Also let me know of any corrections I need to make in what I am posting.

I am finding as I add new photos and historical documents there are some inconsistences in relationships. Any help would be welcome as I straighten out the finer details of who's who.
I have added a children's section for identification of our generation if you can. Irene, Valerie and Geraldine sent most of these images
Cecilia gave me this history. I found the house he lived in
This is Michael O'Toole our great grandfather and father of our grandmother Margaret O'Toole. He was born in Carlow in 1843 and died in 1915. He served in the British army with the 5th Royal Irish Lancers and spent time in India. He was buried in Kilmainham cemetery with full military honours. Cecilea shared these family history letters with me.
